In addition to the newspaper delivered seven days a week to paid subscribers, the Register offers a number of ways to receive news updates, breaking news alerts, sports scores, top-read stories and much, much more.

If you sign up for the daily e-mail: It's sent to your e-mail inbox Monday through Friday between 5-5:15 a.m. It offers a glimpse of the lead stories you can read that day in the Register's print edition and online at sanduskyregister.com.

If you sign up for breaking news e-mails: They're sent periodically to your e-mail inbox, when important developments arise in the Register's coverage area. This could include everything from big political happenings to serious crimes or natural disasters.
